Condizioni di vendita
The terms you are agreeing to.
Condizioni generali di vendita — Codice del Consumo, D.Lgs. 206/2005
Written as questions, because that is how people read terms when something has gone wrong. Nothing here reduces the rights Italian consumer law gives you.
Who is the contract with?
With ITALI@MODA S.R.L., registered office Via Achille Grandi 17, 41012 Carpi (MO), Italia, VAT number 03438400362, entered in the Registro Imprese di Modena, REA In aggiornamento, share capital In aggiornamento.
Contact: support@italiamoda.space · +39 333 726 1845. Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00 CET. Replies within one working day.
These terms apply to consumers, meaning natural persons acting outside their trade or profession. Full company details are also on the legal notice page.
What exactly am I buying?
Shaped knitwear: sweaters, cardigans, knitted vests and sets of those pieces. There are 40 pieces on sale. Each product page states, before you can add anything to the cart:
- the fibre composition in Italian and English, in descending order by weight, as required by Regulation (EU) 1007/2011
- the yarn count and the number of plies
- the mean fibre diameter in microns, on every piece containing animal fibre
- the knit gauge
- where the yarn was spun and where the garment was knitted and made up
- a pilling grade with the test method used, and a plain statement of how the fibre behaves with regard to pilling, prickle, felting and moths
- measured dimensions in centimetres for every size, and the model's height
- the maximum wash temperature and the full care conditions
Cashmere content is always stated as an exact percentage by weight. Photographs show the whole garment, a macro of the stitch and the friction zone where wear appears first. Colour reproduction varies between screens.
How are prices and taxes shown?
Every price on this site is in US dollars (USD). There is no currency switcher, and the amount shown on the product page is the amount used at checkout.
Prices are shown inclusive of tax where the sale is subject to Italian VAT, applied at the standard rate of 22%. Shipping is shown separately in the cart before you commit: USD 12 standard, USD 29 express, free on orders over USD 149.
No charge appears for the first time at the payment step. Everything payable is itemised in the cart and again on the checkout summary.
For deliveries outside the European Union, import duty and local tax may be charged by the destination country. Those charges are set by that country, are payable by you, and are not collected by us.
How do discounts and codes work?
Where a struck-through price is shown, that reference price is the lowest price at which the item was offered in the 30 days before the reduction, as required by D.Lgs. 26/2023. If we cannot show that, no struck-through price is displayed at all. Our price history is enforced in code, not in copy.
There is one first-order code, FIRSTKNIT. One single first-order code. The discount rate is set by the operator of this store and is shown in full before you pay. It applies once per customer, to garment value only, not to shipping, and it cannot be combined with another code. The discounted total is shown before you pay.
We do not run countdown timers, we do not display artificial stock scarcity, and we do not publish customer reviews, because we have no process in place to verify that a review comes from someone who bought the item.
When is the order actually concluded?
You add items to the cart, then complete the checkout form with your name, email, phone, delivery address and country. The form must be complete and valid before the payment step becomes available. You then confirm and pay.
The contract is concluded when we send you an order confirmation by email containing the order reference and a summary of what you bought. If we cannot fulfil an order we will tell you and refund in full.
How is payment handled and is it secure?
Cards accepted: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro. The available payment methods at checkout are configured by the operator of this store.
Card details are entered on an encrypted payment page operated by a PCI DSS compliant payment service provider. We never see, handle or store your full card number, expiry date or security code, and no card data is written to our servers or our database. The whole site is served over HTTPS.
What we do store is the information you type into the checkout form — name, contact details and delivery address — so that we can fulfil and support the order. That is covered by the privacy policy.
The charge on your statement will be the trading name of the company shown at the top of this page. If you do not recognise a charge, contact us before disputing it and we will identify it for you the same working day.
How long do you have to deliver?
We dispatch within 1–3 working days. Delivery is 5–9 working days (standard), 2–4 working days (express) depending on the service chosen and the destination.
Where no delivery date has been agreed, the statutory maximum applies: we must deliver without undue delay and in any event within 30 days of the contract being concluded. If we miss that, you may set an additional reasonable period and, if we miss that too, terminate the contract and be refunded in full.
Risk passes to you when you, or a carrier you nominated yourself, take physical possession of the goods. Full shipping detail is here.
Can I change my mind?
Yes. You have 14 days from the day you or a third party you nominated takes physical possession of the goods to withdraw, without giving any reason. If we had failed to inform you of that right, the period extends by 12 months.
The statutory withdrawal form (Allegato I-B, Codice del Consumo) is provided, though you are free to use your own words. The full procedure and the form are here.
Nothing we sell is made to your specification or personalised, and nothing is sealed for hygiene reasons, so no statutory exclusion from the right of withdrawal applies to any item in this shop. If a custom yarn order is ever agreed individually with you, the exclusion and its consequences will be stated to you in writing before you commit, and repeated on that item.
What if the garment is faulty?
Every item carries the legal guarantee of conformity for 2 years from delivery, claimed from us as the seller and not from a manufacturer. Within the first 12 months, any lack of conformity that appears is presumed to have existed at delivery unless we prove otherwise.
Remedies run in order: repair or replacement first, then a proportionate price reduction or termination of the contract. We do not offer a commercial warranty in place of this, and no term on this site reduces it.
Pilling, felting caused by washing outside the stated conditions, moth damage and ordinary wear are not lacks of conformity. The guarantee page sets this out with worked examples.
Are there any restrictions on buying?
Age. This shop is not intended for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. Shoppers aged 13 to 17 need a parent or guardian's consent, and we ask for a guardian email address at checkout.
Destinations. We ship to the destinations listed in shipping and returns. We do not ship to countries or persons subject to European Union or United Nations restrictive measures, and we may cancel and refund an order if a screening check requires it.
Import rules. Textile goods entering some countries require the importer to hold a licence or to pay duty. Where that applies, it is the buyer's responsibility to comply.
Resale. Orders are for personal use. We may decline or limit orders that appear to be for commercial resale.
Fibre content. Items containing animal fibre are identified on every product page. If you have an allergy to wool or animal hair, do not buy them.
What if we disagree and cannot resolve it?
Write to us first: support@italiamoda.space.
If that does not settle it, you have three routes, all of them free to start:
- the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform, at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
- a mediation procedure before the Camera di commercio competent for our registered office
- a report to AGCM, the Italian competition and market authority, if you believe a commercial practice of ours is unfair
These terms are governed by Italian law. For consumers, the court of the place where you are resident or domiciled has exclusive jurisdiction, and nothing in these terms takes that away from you.
Last updated 15 August 2026. We may change these terms; the version in force is the one published here on the day your order is placed, and we do not apply changes retroactively to an order already accepted.
