The yarns in this line

What each one gives and takes.

Open the Yarn Explorer
  • Merino 2-ply

    18.5 μm

The middle of everything, which is why most of the range is knitted in it. Nothing about it is extreme.

    The fewest compromises

    It wins no single axis

  • Chunky merino

    18.5 μm

Four plies of the same 18.5 μm fibre. The warmest thing here that is not cashmere.

    Warmest wool we knit

    Heavy, and slow to dry

  • Lambswool

    24 μm

The cheapest real wool we sell, and the one that feels warmest for the money. It is also the one you will see pill soonest.

    Most warmth per dollar

You will feel it, and it will pill

  • Cashmere

    15.5 μm

The softest and warmest fibre here by a wide margin, and the most fragile. Both facts are the same fact: the fibre is very fine.

    Softest and warmest

Wears out first, hand wash only

  • Cashmere blend 30

    17.4 μm

Thirty percent cashmere by weight, seventy percent merino. We print both numbers because a blend without numbers tells you nothing.

Cashmere hand at two thirds the price

    Still delicate, still hand-wash territory

  • Cotton

No animal fibre at all. It will not felt, moths ignore it, and you can wash it at 40 °C. It is also the least warm thing here.

Machine washable, no felting, no moths

    Barely warmer than a shirt
